All FCHE member families receive our monthly
newsletter via email. The newsletter is the primary
means of communication within the group and contains
valuable information about FCHE events and home
school related events in the community. The FCHE
newsletter is, on average, 10 to 15 pages of
information and support for families who home
educate in the North Atlanta area.
Newsletter submissions must be received by the 15th
of the month for inclusion in the following month’s
newsletter. The newsletter is generally distributed
by the 1st of each month (excluding summer months).
If you are a member and have not received the
current newsletter, please contact our newsletter
coordinator at
newsletter@fche.org. If you own a business and
would like to reach our 150+ member families,
advertising is available in our newsletter. Contact
the newsletter editor at
newsletter@fche.org.
Newsletter Advertising Opportunities - Any
business or individual desiring to offer their goods
or services to FCHE families can do so in the
newsletter. The cost for a business card size
ad for non- members is $10 per month or $75 per
school year. The FCHE member rate is $5 per month or
$35 per school year. Advertisements should be
submitted by the 15th of the month to
newsletter@fche.org.
FCHE Email Communication
All FCHE member families are part of the FCHE eloop
communication system whereby they receive
announcements and information to their personal
email address. The “announcements loop” provides
information about FCHE related events and
happenings. The “chat” loop provides general home
school and community information. The eloops provide
valuable support and encouragement for every FCHE
member family. Member families can choose to be part
of one or both of the eloops. Email messages can be
sent to one or more email addresses as determined by
the member family.
