For families joining following the January open house, the membership fee is reduced to $15.     When do we renew our membership?   Membership renewal takes place in May and June each year.     We missed the last New Member Open House. Can we still join?   Yes, FCHE accepts membership applications on a year round basis.     How can we obtain a Declaration of Intent to Home School?   Contact the Forsyth County Board of Education at: Student Services, 1120 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, GA 30040, 770-887-2461 or visit their website.     At what age does reporting begin in Georgia?   In Georgia, if your child has never attended public school, reporting must begin on or before the child’s 6th birthday and continue until the child’s 16th birthday.     When are attendance reports due?   In Forsyth County, attendance reports are due by the 10th of each month.  You can download the template from the Forsyth County School web site.     Where do I send my attendance reports?   In Forsyth County, send attendance reports to:      Forsyth County Board of Education, Attn: Student Services,      1120 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming, GA 30040. You can also fax your report at 770-888-1278, please include a cover sheet with your phone number in case we need to contact you.     Do we have to be a member of FCHE to join Scout Pack/Troop 245?   Cub Scout Pack 245 and Boy Scout Troop 245 are chartered by FCHE and are open to both FCHE and non-FCHE members.       Do we have to join FCHE to participate in the FCHE Key and Builders Clubs?   The FCHE Key and Builders clubs are open to both FCHE and non-FCHE members.
